Brocklehurst Property Maintenance Ltd began life in 1993 as a small, one man business in the heart of the Peak District offering joinery and general maintenance services for the local community. Since those early days, the business has grown consistently in terms of its range of services, clientele, expertise and staffing.
Experienced craftsmen and apprentices undergoing professional training programmes now enable us to offer a comprehensive range of timber-based services on projects guaranteed to delight even the most discerning clients.
Recognition of this came in 2006 with our accreditation as ‘Investors in People’ which, we believe, also demonstrates our commitment to the highest professional standards and our empathy with the environment.
Teenage apprentice Joe Birch received a Chesterfield College certificate for his achievements at the 2009 and 2010 ‘Skill Build’. Nick Rudkin, the Programme Manager of the Joinery section, stated that;
It is very unusual for someone as young as Joe to be put forward to this level of competition. Even more unusual was the fact that he secured 2nd place in 2009 and a win in 2010. This is quite an achievement and shows just how well supported Joe is by the company he works for”.
